Truly Siahaan is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry with a rich background in hotel and tourism. Born and raised in Indonesia, Truly has dedicated over 30 years to the food and beverage (F&B) sector. Her journey began by establishing her own successful catering service, which later paved the way for opportunities in renowned chain hotels across Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.

Relocating to the United States, Truly's commitment to the hospitality industry remained unwavering as she joined Marriott International, where she has been an integral part of the team for the past 20 years. During her tenure at Marriott, she has consistently sought to expand her industry knowledge through workshops focusing on service excellence, branding, and various other aspects. Demonstrating her skills and expertise, Truly also participated in competitions organized by Marriott, achieving remarkable success. In 2017, she secured 3rd place in the Best Cocktail category, and in 2018, she claimed 1st place as the Master of the Craft.

With the unfortunate onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, the hospitality industry faced unprecedented challenges, and Truly was directly impacted. However, adversity sparked her entrepreneurial spirit, leading her to explore new avenues. This led to the creation of Waroeng Jaya, an online grocery store specializing in authentic Indonesian goods. Through this venture, Truly not only connected people to the flavors of Indonesia but also expanded her horizons by establishing her own import and export company, facilitating trade not only with Indonesia but with other countries as well.

Aside from her professional accomplishments, Truly has a deep love for cooking, possessing the ability to create a wide range of dishes. Her talent and passion extend beyond her professional responsibilities, as she also dedicates her spare time to catering services, delighting others with her culinary expertise.
