Yuni is one of the Board of Directors of Srikandi Baltimore. She went to school at the University of Jayabaya, Indonesia, and got her bachelor in accounting. Yuni worked as an accountant when she was in Jakarta, but as she moved to the US, she no longer continued working as one.
Yuni has been in the US since the year of 2001, and has been working as an Indonesian language instructor for Military Special Operation in Fort Bragg in 2012. She used her experiences and knowledge to guide students to become fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and Indonesian culture. Yuni really enjoyed being an instructor as it was very rewarding to share her culture to people here in America.
After working for 11 years, she decided to take a break and work remotely, and now she is working as an Indonesian Content Analyst with Vaco for Google. On the side, she still tutors Bahasa Indonesia and works part time as an interpreter too. Yuni is all about sharing her knowledge to the world, and she also loves to travel. Btw, Yuni enjoys listening to country music.
